A couple of additions

It has been raining pretty much all morning in Melbourne this morning, as a result there will be a couple of additons to the selections for today.
Gallopin and Redondo Beach both have no problems handling wet tracks so there is no reason to change the thinking on those two.
Viking Turf Belle has no wet form at all, she has only had three starts so it is hard to judge, but if the money comes for her it will indicate stable confidence.
I am actually going to add a couple of tips considering that the track is almost certain to be downgraded at some stage of the day. In race six Threedee comes right into calculations, his run last start at Geelong on a slow track was outstanding. He carried 58kg after the claim for Naomi Fisher. She absolutely slaughtered him by making him race in the worst part of the track, after all jockeys agreed that the meeting would go ahead only if the avoided the inside....so what does she do? Take him on the inside all the way! Steven Arnold goes on here and will give him a great ride.
In the last at Flemington, King Johannes looks very hard to beat. His last two runs have been excellent in much stronger class than this, last start he was beaten a length and a half at group 3 level in the Eclipse Stakes after getting back in a leader dominated race. I can see him racing much closer to the speed today, his wet form is very good and should run very well.
Rain does change a lot of factors in racing but don't be afraid to revise things when the track conditions change to include some of those that you would have otherwise eliminated.
