An Intro

This site is simple.
It's by a punter for punters, although the site has kicked off just before the Cox Plate (to be covered later in the week, after acceptances) it is for the punter who is punting on the races in the depths of winter and the height of summer as well as the high-falutin' times of the Spring Carnival. These once a yearers are a nuisance. If you are one of those, this site is not for you.
This site will be full of racing analysis, meeting reviews and above all, tips from me and tips from those of you who wish to comment. I welcome all tips and comment wholeheartedly as the beauty of the punt is the fact that no-one is right 100% of the time. The Sport of Kings is such a subjective pastime that everyone has different views according to the personalities involved. For example I can't stand Glen Boss and think anyone could have ridden Makybe Diva, but I also share Shane Dye's opinion of himself that he is a super rider.
As ex Carlton coach Denis Pagan once said "Opinions are like noses, everybody has one!"
I have mine and would really like to hear yours.
To borrow another line from Pagan, I promise not to "pee down your back and tell you it's raining". Everything on this site will be given in good faith and written ethically.
